## Biography

Henry Berman was an American film editor. He began his career at RKO Pictures in the 1930s and edited several Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers musicals produced by his brother Pandro S. Berman, including *Follow the Fleet* (1936) and *Swing Time* (1936). His credits at the studio also include *Kitty Foyle* (1940).

Berman later moved to MGM, where he continued editing feature films such as *Sweet Bird of Youth* (1962), *Grand Prix* (1966) and *Point Blank* (1967). He shared the Academy Award for Best Film Editing for *Grand Prix*. He also worked in television, receiving an Emmy nomination for editing the 1975 television film *Babe*.
