Henry Slesar (1927–2002) was an American writer of short stories, novels and television scripts. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career as an advertising copywriter and published his first short story in 1955. He wrote hundreds of stories, many under pseudonyms including O. H. Leslie, and contributed scripts to numerous television series.

His television credits include episodes of *The Twilight Zone* (1959), *Alfred Hitchcock Presents* (1955), *The Alfred Hitchcock Hour* (1962), *Batman* (1966) and *The Man from U.N.C.L.E.* (1964). He served as head writer on the daytime serial *The Edge of Night* (1956). Slesar received an Edgar Award for his novel *The Gray Flannel Shroud* (1958). He died in New York City.
