Herman Bing (1889–1947) was a German-American character actor and assistant director. Born in Frankfurt am Main, Germany, he began working in German cinema in the early 1920s before moving to the United States in 1923.

He served as assistant to F. W. Murnau on *Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans* (1927), in which he also appeared uncredited as the Streetcar Conductor. Bing acted in more than 120 films, often in uncredited or supporting roles, and provided the voice of the Ringmaster in Walt Disney's *Dumbo* (1941). Among his other credits are *A Farewell to Arms* (1932), *Murders in the Rue Morgue* (1932), *Dinner at Eight* (1933), *Twentieth Century* (1934), *The Great Ziegfeld* (1936) and *Bluebeard's 8th Wife* (1938).
