Hervé Schneid is a French film editor. He was born on 12 May 1956.

Schneid edited *Delicatessen* (1991), for which he won the César Award for Best Editing in 1992, and *Orlando* (1992). He has edited all seven feature films directed by Jean-Pierre Jeunet, including *The City of Lost Children* (1995), *Amélie* (2001) and *A Very Long Engagement* (2004). His other credits include *Alien Resurrection* (1997) and the two *Mesrine* films (2008).

Schneid has also worked on international productions, including films by Sally Potter.
