## Biography

Hirotaka Mori is a Japanese animation director, also credited as Daiki Mori. He began his career at Toei Animation after a college senior recommended him for an assistant director position there. He later worked as a freelancer and served as assistant director on Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods (2013).

Mori has directed episodes of Haikyu!! (2014) and Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (2023). He made his series directorial debut with Heavenly Delusion (2023, also known as Tengoku Daimakyo), contributing storyboards and scripts to the series. He was assistant director on Sword Art Online the Movie: Ordinal Scale (2017).
