## Biography

Hiroyuki Nishimoto was a Japanese actor and voice actor. He began his career in the theatre company Bungakuza and co-founded Gekidan Kumo in 1963. He later joined Theatre Company Subaru in 1976.

Nishimoto appeared in the film *Woman in the Dunes* (1964) as a villager and in *Goké, Body Snatcher from Hell* (1968) as the pilot. He voiced Snufkin in the Japanese television adaptations of *Moomin* and provided dubbing for several Disney films.

He was born on 3 January 1927 in Tokyo and died on 19 April 2015.
