Hong Zhang is a Chinese actress. She was born in April 1971 in Shanghai and trained at the Shanghai Beauty Art School.

She entered the film industry after placing in a 1988 Shanghai television beauty pageant. Her early roles include appearances in *Black Puma* (1989) and *Black Snow* (1992), in which she played Xiao Cui. She is also known for portraying Zhu Ying in *The Blue Kite* (1993).

Later credits include *She Comes from Taipei* (1992) and *Sheng si jue ze* (2000). She has also worked as a screenwriter.
