## Biography

Howard G. Minsky (1914–2008) was an American film producer, studio executive and talent agent. He began his career during the silent film era selling film reels door-to-door, later working as an executive for 20th Century Fox and Paramount Pictures before becoming a talent agent at the William Morris Agency.

Minsky produced *Love Story* (1970), a major commercial success that received seven Academy Award nominations, including for Best Picture. He later produced and wrote the screenplay for *Jory* (1972). He was married to Sylvia Minsky until her death in 2002.
