## Biography

Hugh Coles is an English actor. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA) and graduated in 2017.

Coles appeared in the 2018 film *The Festival* as Rex and has taken television roles including Liam in *Defending the Guilty* (2018–2019), Socks in *Atlanta* (2022), Hugo Pickford in *Death in Paradise* (2021) and Francis in *Baby Reindeer* (2024). On stage he originated the role of George McFly in *Back to the Future: The Musical* in the West End and on Broadway, receiving a 2022 Laurence Olivier Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Musical.
