Hugh Ragett is a British director, editor and producer. He was born on 16 April 1937 in London.

He directed three episodes of the documentary series *The World at War* (1973–1974) and also served as producer on two further episodes. His other directing credits include the short films *Breakthrough* (1966) and *Images* (1970), the television film *A New Germany, 1933–1939* (1980), and episodes of series such as *Time to Talk* (1992) and *When to Worry* (1987). As an editor he worked on feature films including *The Charge of the Light Brigade* (1968) and numerous shorts and documentaries.

Ragett was assistant commissioning editor at Channel 4 in London from 1983 to 1985.
