## Biography

Hugues Espinasse is a French cinematographer and camera operator, also credited as Hughes Espinasse. He began his career in the late 1990s in the camera department, working as a clapper loader on *Brotherhood of the Wolf* (2001) and *The Bourne Identity* (2002), and as an assistant camera on *The Ninth Gate* (1999).

Espinasse progressed to roles including first assistant camera on *Inception* (2010) and camera operator on *Dunkirk* (2017), *RED 2* (2013) and *The 15:17 to Paris* (2018). He has served as director of photography on *Mission: Impossible - Fallout* (2018) and second unit director of photography on *The Nun II* (2023), as well as on several shorts, music videos and television series including *Riviera*.
