## Biography

Ian Arber is a British composer for film and television, based in London. He is classically trained and plays cello, piano and guitar. He began working in the industry as assistant to composer Joe Kraemer on *Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation* (2015).

Arber composed the score for the Acorn TV series *The Chelsea Detective* (2022), recorded with the London Metropolitan Orchestra. His other credits include the BBC thriller *The Capture* (2019, co-composed with Dave Rowntree), Netflix series *The One* (2021) and *Medici* (2018–19), and *War of the Worlds* (2019). He has also scored documentaries such as *I Am Bolt* (2016) and *After the Screaming Stops* (2018).

Later work includes *Paris Has Fallen* (2024), *Red Eye* (2024) and additional music for *Wolf Man* (2025).
