## Biography

Ian Bevitt is a British television director. He has directed hundreds of episodes of the soap opera *Coronation Street* between 2000 and 2023, as well as many episodes of *Emmerdale* since 1999.

His other credits include directing episodes of *Hollyoaks*, *Waterloo Road*, *Heartbeat* and the 2015 series *World's End*. In 2023 he directed one episode of the anthology series *Inside No. 9*. He won a BAFTA TV Award in 2005 for Best Continuing Drama for his work on *Coronation Street*.
