## Biography

Ian Watson is a British production designer and art director. He worked on the BBC series *Doctor Who* (1963) as production designer and designer on episodes broadcast in 1969 and 1971.

His other credits include art direction on *Local Hero* (1983) and *Around the World in 80 Days* (1989), and production design on *Sunset Heights* (1999), *Dragonworld* (1994) and *Space Odyssey: Voyage to the Planets* (2004). He has also designed for television series including *Survivors* (1976), *Doomwatch* (1970–1971) and *Jeux sans frontières* (1991–1992).
