## Biography

Ibolya Csák was a Hungarian athlete who appeared uncredited as Self – High Jump, Hungary in the 1938 documentary film *Olympia Part One: Festival of the Nations*.

Born in Budapest in 1915, she began as a gymnast before competing in athletics. She won the women's high jump gold medal at the 1936 Berlin Olympics and the 1938 European Championships. Csák secured nine Hungarian national titles and set multiple national records before retiring from competition in 1939.

She later worked as a receptionist at the Hungarian Banknote Printing Corporation and received the International Fair Play Life Achievement Award in 2005. Csák died in Budapest in 2006.
