Ihuoma Ofordire is a writer, producer and actress. She was born in Washington, District of Columbia, USA, and is of Nigerian descent.

Ofordire wrote the teleplay and story for episodes of the HBO series *Lovecraft Country* (2020), including “Jig-a-Bobo” and “Full Circle”. She has also written episodes of *Snowfall* (2021), *Black Cake* (2023) and *Dark Matter* (2024), and contributed to *Spartacus: House of Ashur* (2025). Earlier credits include creating and writing the series *Life, Love, & Hollywood* (2008).

She has received three award nominations, including a Bram Stoker Award nomination for her work on *Lovecraft Country*.
