## Biography

Ilmur Kristjánsdóttir is an Icelandic actress, screenwriter and politician. She was born in Reykjavík in 1978 and graduated from the acting division of the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2003.

She is known for her role as Hinrika Kristjánsdóttir in the television series *Trapped* (2015–2021). Other film and television credits include *Virgin Mountain* (2015) as Sjöfn, *White Night Wedding* (2008) as Matthildur, *Dís* (2004) as Blær, and the voice of Baby Troll in *LazyTown* (2004). She created and starred in the series *Ástríður* (2009).

She has also worked as a television presenter and served on Reykjavík's welfare committee.
