## Biography

Inigo Jackson (born Anthony Michael Jackson) was a British actor who appeared in films and television. He trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 1961, and adopted the professional name Inigo after leaving the institution.

One of his earliest film roles was as Robert de Beaumont in *Becket* (1964). His other screen credits include an uncredited appearance as a Major in *Doctor Zhivago* (1965), the Woodman in *Twins of Evil* (1971), Zentos in the *Doctor Who* serial *The Ark* (1966) and Athelstane in the television series *Ivanhoe* (1970).

Jackson was born on 19 July 1933 in Kidderminster, Worcestershire, and died on 25 August 2001 in Tipton, West Midlands.
