## Biography

Ippolit Novoderyozhkin (Ипполит Новодережкин) was a Soviet production designer and art director. He graduated from the art faculty of VGIK in 1952 and subsequently worked at Mosfilm. He also taught at VGIK between 1959 and 1964.

He contributed to production design on *Andrei Rublev* (1966), *Fate of a Man* (1959) and *The Red Snowball Tree* (1974, also credited as art director). Other credits include *Zigzag of Success* (1968) and *Came a Soldier from the Front* (1971). He received the title of Honoured Artist of the RSFSR in 1969 and the State Prize of the RSFSR in 1973. He died in 1986.
