## Biography

Ira Sherak is an American animation director and former storyboard artist. He began his career in the 1990s working in art and animation departments on series including *The Simpsons*, *Rugrats* and *Duckman*.

Sherak has directed episodes of several animated series, including *Brickleberry* (2013–2015), *Disenchantment* (2018–2023) and *Futurama* (2023–2026). He also served as retake director and assistant director on *Futurama*. In 2011 he received a Primetime Emmy Award as assistant director for the *Futurama* episode "The Late Philip J. Fry".
