## Biography

Irene Miracle is an American actress, director and producer. She made her film debut in *Night Train Murders* (1975) and gained international attention for her role as Susan in Alan Parker’s *Midnight Express* (1978). For that performance she won the Golden Globe Award for New Star of the Year – Female.

She followed with a leading part as Rose Elliot in Dario Argento’s *Inferno* (1980) and later appeared in *Puppet Master* (1989) and other films and television productions. Miracle has also worked behind the camera as a writer, director and producer; her short film *Dawnland* (also known as *Changeling*) was released in 2009.
