Ivan Bobrov (Иван Васильевич Бобров) was a Soviet actor. Born on 7 February 1904 in Moscow, he died there on 12 April 1952. He made his screen debut in 1925 as the young sailor flogged while sleeping in Sergei Eisenstein’s *Battleship Potemkin*.

He appeared in numerous Soviet films through the 1920s to the early 1950s, including the role of a young prisoner in Vsevolod Pudovkin’s *Mother* (1926) and later parts in *Kashchei the Immortal* (1945) and *Nezabyvaemyy 1919 god* (1951). Before and alongside his film career he worked in transport, served in the OGPU, instructed in boxing and performed with the State Theatre of Film Actors from the mid-1940s.
