## Biography

J. Anthony Crane, also known as Tony Crane, is an American actor. Born in Los Angeles, he graduated from Northwestern University in 1993 with a degree in theatre and writing, and obtained a certificate from the Royal National Theatre of London in 1992.

Crane is known for his early role as Remy McSwain in the television series *The Big Easy*. His stage credits include playing Scar in *The Lion King* and Thénardier in *Les Misérables*, as well as a Broadway appearance in *Between Riverside and Crazy*. He has appeared in television series including *Succession* (2021), *Billions* (2023) and *Dead Ringers* (2023).

Crane plays Chandler Groff in seasons four and five of the Netflix series *Outer Banks* (2020–).
