J. Watson Webb Jr. was an American film editor. He began working as an apprentice film cutter at Twentieth Century Fox in 1940 and rose to become head of the studio's editing department. His credits include *State Fair* (1945), *The Dark Corner* (1946), *The Razor's Edge* (1946), *Kiss of Death* (1947), *Call Northside 777* (1948), *A Letter to Three Wives* (1949), *Broken Arrow* (1950) and *Cheaper by the Dozen* (1950).

Born in Syosset, New York, Webb was educated at Groton School and Yale University. He retired from film editing in 1952. From 1960 he served as president of the Shelburne Museum in Vermont, founded by his mother, later becoming chairman of its board until 1996.
