Jack Coleman is an American actor. Born John MacDonald Coleman on 21 February 1958 in Easton, Pennsylvania, he attended Duke University before beginning his career in television.

His early roles included a part in the soap opera *Days of Our Lives* (1981–1982). He replaced Al Corley as Steven Carrington in the prime-time soap *Dynasty* (1982–1988). Coleman is best known for portraying Noah Bennet in the series *Heroes* (2006–2010) and its miniseries continuation *Heroes Reborn* (2015). He has appeared in guest roles in series including *The Office* (2010–2013) as State Senator Robert Lipton, *Castle* (2012–2015) as Senator William Bracken, *The Vampire Diaries*, *House*, *Westworld*, *The Mentalist* and *Chicago P.D.*.
