Jack Cunningham was an American screenwriter. He was born on 1 April 1882 in Ionia, Iowa, and died on 4 October 1941 in Santa Monica, California, from a cerebral haemorrhage.

He wrote for 132 films between 1913 and 1939. His credits include the screenplay for *It's a Gift* (1934), adaptation for *Union Pacific* (1939) and work on *The Black Pirate* (1926).
