## Biography

Jack Dolgen is an American television writer, producer and director. He began his career as a musician, playing bass in the New York band Sam Champion and releasing the solo albums *Maricopa* (2010) and *Wandering Times* (2012).

Dolgen is a longtime collaborator of comedian Rachel Bloom, co-writing songs for her projects including music videos. He wrote six episodes and directed one episode of the musical series *Crazy Ex-Girlfriend* (2015–2019), also serving as producer on the show. He created the series *Pretty Smart* (2021) and wrote an episode of *The Afterparty* (2022).
