## Biography

Jack Goessens is a Dutch-born editor and director based in the UK. He trained at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, specialising in post-production, and began working as an assistant editor on the Starz series *Outlander* shortly after graduating. He has since edited episodes across several series of the show, including serving as UK editor.

Goessens directs and writes his own short films. His 2021 short *Everyman*, commissioned by the Scottish Documentary Institute, won an RTS Award and was shortlisted for a Grierson Award. He is developing his debut feature *Boifriend* as writer-director, supported by BFI Network and Screen Scotland funding. He has also edited other series including *Everything Now* (2022) for Netflix and *River City* for the BBC.
