## Biography

Jack Kehler (1946–2022) was an American character actor. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he began working in theatre at the age of 24 and became a member of the Actors Studio after studying with Sanford Meisner and Wynn Handman. His first film role was in *Strange Invaders* (1983).

Kehler appeared in dozens of films and television series. He played Guard Johnny Mack in *Lost Highway* (1997) and was known for roles including Marty, the Dude's landlord, in *The Big Lebowski* (1998), Ben in *Men in Black II* (2002), and a recurring part as Harlan Wyndam-Matson in *The Man in the High Castle*. He also featured in *Point Break* (1991), *Waterworld* (1995), *Lethal Weapon 4* (1998) and *Pineapple Express* (2008). Kehler died in Los Angeles from complications of leukaemia.
