## Biography

Jack Seddon (1924–2001) was a British screenwriter. Born in Lancashire, he died in Chesham, Buckinghamshire.

He frequently collaborated with David Pursall. Their joint credits include the screenplay for *The Secret Partner* (1961) and several Agatha Christie adaptations starring Margaret Rutherford as Miss Marple: *Murder She Said* (1961), *Murder Most Foul* (1964) and *Murder Ahoy* (1964). Seddon also contributed to the screenplay of *The Longest Day* (1962) and wrote *The Blue Max* (1966) with Pursall and Gerald Hanley.
