Jacques Doniol-Valcroze (15 March 1920 – 6 October 1989) was a French actor, film critic, screenwriter and director. Born in Paris, he co-founded the film magazine *Cahiers du cinéma* in 1951 with André Bazin and Joseph-Marie Lo Duca, and edited it until 1957.

He appeared as the 2nd Caller in Chantal Akerman's *Jeanne Dielman, 23, quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles* (1975). Other acting credits include *Orpheus* (1950), *The Immortal One* (1963), *Out 1* (1971) and *The Crook* (1970). He directed films such as *L'Eau à la bouche* (1960) and served on the jury of the 14th Berlin International Film Festival in 1964.
