Jake McLaughlin is an American actor. Born Jacob Adam McLaughlin on 7 October 1982 in Paradise, California, he served in the United States Army from 2002 to 2006, including during the Iraq War as a member of the 3rd Infantry Division.

After leaving the military, McLaughlin began acting. He made his feature film debut as Specialist Gordon Bonner in *In the Valley of Elah* (2007). He appeared in *Warrior* (2011) as Mark Bradford, *Safe House* (2012) as Miller, and *Savages* (2012) as Doc. On television, he has played roles including Aaron Karev on *Grey's Anatomy*, Ryan Booth on *Quantico* (2015–2018), and Michael Ormewood on *Will Trent* (2023–present). He also starred as Tate on the series *Believe* (2014).
