## Biography

Jakob Ihre is a Swedish cinematographer. He trained at the National Film and Television School in Beaconsfield, England, and is a member of the Swedish Society of Cinematographers (FSF).

He is known for his collaborations with director Joachim Trier on films including *Reprise* (2006), *Oslo, August 31st* (2011), *Louder Than Bombs* (2015) and *Thelma* (2017). Other credits include *The End of the Tour* (2015), *Lola Versus* (2012), *NOKAS* (2010) and *Spaceman* (2024). On television he served as cinematographer for the HBO miniseries *Chernobyl* (2019).

Ihre won a Primetime Emmy Award, a BAFTA and a British Society of Cinematographers award for his work on *Chernobyl*. He has also received the NFTS Sue Gibson Cinematography Award.
