## Biography

James Bowman is an animation director and storyboard artist. He contributed to *BoJack Horseman* (2014) in multiple roles, including as director of two episodes in 2020, assistant director, retake animator and storyboard artist.

He directed one episode of *Tuca & Bertie* (2019), served as animation director on the series, and directed the Netflix interactive short *Cat Burglar* (2022). Bowman began working on *BoJack Horseman* as a storyboard artist after being hired by supervising director Mike Hollingsworth at ShadowMachine; he had previously worked on other ShadowMachine productions.
