## Biography

James Dormer is a British television and film writer. His credits include episodes of the BBC series *Spooks* (2009), *The Musketeers*, *Wallander*, *Sinbad* and *The Fixer*, as well as multiple seasons of *Strike Back* for Sky One and HBO Cinemax.

He created and served as lead writer on the series *Beowulf: Return to the Shieldlands* (2016) and *Nautilus* (2024). Other writing credits include *Outcast* (2014), *Medici: Masters of Florence* (season 3), *Devils*, *Hijack* and *Dangerous Liaisons*.

Before working in film and television, Dormer was a ministerial advisor and speech-writer, and served as a diplomat in New Delhi.
