## Biography

James Ramsay is a Scottish actor and camera operator. He is the brother of filmmaker Lynne Ramsay and appeared in several of her early works, including *Gasman* (1998) as Da, *Ratcatcher* (1999) as Mr Quinn, and *Small Deaths* (1996).

His other acting credits include *Gangs of New York* (2002) as a condemned man, an episode of *Taggart* (2002), and the short film *The Fall of Shug McCracken* (2003). He has since worked extensively in the camera department on television specials, live music films, and series such as *Top Gear* and *The Grand Tour*.
