James Sloyan is an American actor. Born on 24 February 1940 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he trained at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and began his professional career with the New York Shakespeare Festival under Joseph Papp.

His film credits include *The Sting* (1973) and *Xanadu* (1980). He has made numerous guest appearances on television series including *Wonder Woman*, *MacGyver*, *Quantum Leap*, *Beverly Hills, 90210*, *The X-Files*, *Star Trek: The Next Generation*, *Star Trek: Deep Space Nine* and *Star Trek: Voyager*.
