## Biography

Jamie Demetriou is an English comedian, actor and screenwriter. He was born on 1 November 1987 in London and studied at the University of Bristol.

He created, co-wrote and starred as the title character in the Channel 4 sitcom *Stath Lets Flats* (2018–2021), for which he won three BAFTA Television Awards in 2020. He is also known for his role as Bus Rodent in *Fleabag* (2016).

His film roles include the Professor in *Paddington 2* (2017), Gerald in *Cruella* (2021), a Mattel executive in *Barbie* (2023) and the voice of Chester in *Strays* (2023). He has a sister, comedian and actress Natasia Demetriou, with whom he frequently collaborates.
