## Biography

Jamie Maxtone-Graham is an American cinematographer and photographer. He graduated from Hampshire College with a BA in Film, Photography and Literature in 1983 and worked for more than twenty years as a guild cinematographer in New York and Los Angeles on independent films, mainstream features, episodic television and advertising.

His television credits include director of photography on episodes of *ER* (2004–2005) and *My Name Is Earl* (2006). Feature work encompasses additional camera on *Hulk* (2003), camera department on *Volcano* (1997) and second-unit cinematography on *Green Dragon* (2001). He first filmed in Vietnam in 1990 on the documentary *From Hollywood to Hanoi* and later contributed to the Sundance award-winning *Three Seasons*.

In 2007–2008 he was a Fulbright Research Fellow, photographing contemporary youth culture in Vietnam. He has lived in Hanoi since and continues to work on commercial and moving-image projects alongside his photography.
