Jan Hooks, also credited as Janet Vivian Hooks, was an American actress and comedian. She was a repertory player on the NBC sketch comedy series *Saturday Night Live* from 1986 to 1991, and made occasional cameo appearances until 1994.

After leaving the show she took a regular role on the final two seasons of *Designing Women*. Her other television work included a recurring role as Vicki Dubcek on *3rd Rock from the Sun* and guest appearances on *30 Rock*. Film roles included Jen in *Batman Returns* (1992), Tina in *Pee-wee's Big Adventure* (1985), and Gladys Johnson in *Coneheads* (1993). She also provided voice work on *The Simpsons* and *Futurama*.
