Jan Tesarz (4 August 1935 – 3 January 2020) was a Polish actor of film, theatre and television. He graduated from the Dramatic Studio and made his stage debut in 1957, subsequently appearing in productions at theatres including the Teatr im. Stefana Jaracza in Łódź and the Teatr Polski in Warsaw.

He is known for roles in Krzysztof Kieślowski’s films, including Joanna’s Father in *No End* (1985), the taxi driver Waldemar Rekowski in *Decalogue V* (1989) and its feature expansion *A Short Film About Killing* (1988), and a taxi driver in *Decalogue IV* (1989). Other film credits include an uncredited soldier in *Colonel Wolodyjowski* (1969) and a guard in *Hart’s War* (2002).
