Jane Fallon is an English television producer and novelist. She was born on 9 December 1960 in Harrow, London. After studying history at University College London, she worked as a script reader and editor before becoming a producer.

Her early producing credits include episodes of *EastEnders* in 1994. She produced the BBC drama series *This Life* (1996–1997) and served as executive producer on the Channel 4 series *Teachers* (2001–2004), as well as *20 Things to Do Before You're 30* (2003). She received several BAFTA nominations for her television work.

Fallon left television production around 2006 to write full time. Her debut novel *Getting Rid of Matthew* was published in 2007, followed by several further novels that reached the Sunday Times bestseller list.
