## Biography

Jane Winton (1905–1959) was an American actress. She appeared in films including *Sunrise: A Song of Two Humans* (1927), in which she played The Manicure Girl, *Don Juan* (1926), *The Fair Co-Ed* (1927), *The Patsy* (1928) and *Hell's Angels* (1930), in which she played Baroness Von Kranz.

She began her stage career as a dancer with the Ziegfeld Follies in the 1920s. After leaving Hollywood she performed operatic roles in the United States and abroad, including with the National Grand Opera Company in 1933, and worked in radio in England.
