Janet Beecher, also credited as Janet Meysenberg, was an American stage and screen actress. She worked on Broadway from the 1900s to the 1940s, making her debut in *The Education of Mr. Pipp* (1905) and appearing in her final play, *The Late George Apley* (1944). Between 1915 and 1943 she appeared in around fifty motion pictures.

Her film roles include Mrs. Foote in *The Story of Vernon and Irene Castle* (1939), Senora Isabella Vega in *The Mark of Zorro* (1940), Miss Haines in *All This, and Heaven Too* (1940), Janet Pike in *The Lady Eve* (1941), and Mrs. Mottram in *Reap the Wild Wind* (1942). She also appeared in an episode of the television series *Lux Video Theatre* (1952).
