Janet Shaw (born Ellen Martha Clancy) was an American actress. She began her career in the mid-1930s under her birth name, signing with Warner Bros. and appearing in films including *Jezebel* (1938) and *The Old Maid* (1939). She later worked under the name Janet Shaw as a freelance supporting player, with credits in *Waterloo Bridge* (1940), *Night Monster* (1942) and *It Happened Tomorrow* (1944).

She is best known for her role as Louise Finch in Alfred Hitchcock's *Shadow of a Doubt* (1943). Shaw appeared in approximately 60 films, many of them uncredited, before retiring from the screen in 1950. She made one television appearance in 1955.
