## Biography

Janine Jackowski is a German film producer. She studied film production at the University of Television and Film Munich from 1998 to 2002, where she met director Maren Ade. In 1999, while still a student, she co-founded the production company Komplizen Film with Ade.

Jackowski has produced or co-produced numerous films, including Ade's *The Forest for the Trees* (2003), *Everyone Else* (2009) and *Toni Erdmann* (2016); Miguel Gomes's *Tabu* (2012); and later works such as *Spencer* (2021), *Corsage* (2022), *Maria* (2024) and *Sentimental Value* (2025). She is based in Berlin and was invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in 2019.

*Toni Erdmann* brought her the European Film Award and German Film Award for Best Film, along with a BAFTA nomination for Best Film Not in the English Language.
