Janis Diamond, also credited as Janice Diamond and Janis Fierstein, is a writer and producer. She wrote multiple episodes of the series *Law & Order* (1990), including story and teleplay contributions, and served as consulting producer on later seasons.

Diamond has written for numerous animated series, among them *He-Man and the Masters of the Universe* (1983), *Beetlejuice* (1989), *Sonic the Hedgehog* (1993), *Alvin and the Chipmunks* (1983) and *Tom & Jerry Kids Show* (1990). She created the series *The Adventures of Raggedy Ann & Andy* (1988). She has also written for *Brimstone* (1998) and *Bull* (2000).

She is married to writer and producer Michael S. Chernuchin.
