## Biography

Jannik Johansen is a Danish director and writer. Born on 3 March 1965 in Gentofte, he began his career as an assistant director on films including *Flickering Lights* (2000) before making his feature debut with *Rembrandt* (2003), which he co-wrote with Anders Thomas Jensen.

He has directed episodes of several Danish television series, including *Borgen* (2011), *Rita* (2012), *Dicte* (2013), *Follow the Money* (2016) and *Ragnarok* (2020). His other feature films as director and writer include *Murk* (2005) and *White Night* (2007). He is the son of jazz musician, author and journalist Henrik Johansen.
