## Biography

Jared Stern is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He began his career writing the screenplay for *Mr. Popper's Penguins* (2011) and went on to write *The Watch* (2012) and *The Internship* (2013).

Stern wrote the screenplays for *The Lego Batman Movie* (2017) and *The Lego Ninjago Movie* (2017), collaborating with John Whittington on both. He also wrote for the animated series *Green Eggs and Ham* (2019), which he created. Stern made his feature directorial debut with *Happy Anniversary* (2018) and directed and co-wrote *DC League of Super-Pets* (2022). He has served as executive producer on *Storks* (2016) and *Smallfoot* (2018).
