Jason Bernard (born Ronald Carl Johnson) was an American actor. He was born on 17 May 1938 in Chicago, Illinois, and died on 16 October 1996 in Burbank, California.

Bernard appeared in numerous films, including *WarGames* (1983) as Captain Knewt, *While You Were Sleeping* (1995) as Jerry, and *Liar Liar* (1997) as Judge Marshall Stevens, his final role, released posthumously. His television credits include *V* (1983) as Caleb Taylor, *Cagney & Lacey* as Inspector Marquette, and *Herman's Head* as Mr Paul Bracken. He also provided voice work for video games such as the *Wing Commander* series.
